Getting Back into Drumming – Looking for a band for Funk, Jazz, R&B (Den Haag)

I used to play drums with a blues band some years back and am now excited to get started again! I’m looking for an amateur band interested in playing funky, groovy covers across jazz, blues, R&B, soul and similar genres. Although I’m a bit rusty, I’m disciplined and dedicated, I am confident I’ll pick it up quickly.

Recently, I played with a street band covering tracks like Higher Ground (Stevie Wonder), Staying Alive (Electro Deluxe), Why Did You Do It (Stretch), and Rehab (Amy Winehouse) and some other tracks.

I'm in it for the fun, but would be open to preparing for small gigs if the opportunity comes up.

I have limited Dutch for now unfortunately, but working on it. I live in the Statenkwartier area of The Hague and would prefer practicing a couple of times a month, could consider as frequent as once a week, though also need to keep up with other things including work of course.
